Acme Cafe is a new diner in the redeveloping East Hastings neighborhood (right next door to the old Save On Meats), serving up a menu of sandwiches, quiches and a large assortment of pies and baked goods, all in an open kitchen.

Cho Pain appears to be closed. Apparently temporarily, but we can't find any indications of when they will re-open.

Boulangerie Cho Pain is a small, French bakery on Vancouver’s West End specializing in various sweet delights: artisan breads, pastries, cakes, casse-croute and snacks. They seem to be a local favourite — the front counter staff appearing to know many of the regulars and their usual orders.

While in Maui, eating as much fish as possible is a no brainer. The fish here is fantastic and of course straight from the ocean. One of the best fish dishes we had was at Pho Saigon 808, located on Front Street, hidden inside a plaza next to a Mexican restaurant.
